We are currently seeking to add the following dynamic individuals
to our hard working team:
FORENSIC AND INVESTIGATIVE ACCOUNTANT
You have an accounting designation and have
3 to 5 years experience in forensic and investigative accounting.
You should have strong technical and communication skills with
an eye for detail. The engagements require the performance of
financial analysis in the context of a legal or potentially
legal dispute. Court, tribunal, arbitration, mediation experience
or any presentation of expert testimony would be an asset.
Knowledge of business interruption insurance and the Statutory
Accident Benefit Schedules including the ability to learn new
legislation is a key element of this position.
Our team of forensic accountants
is supported by Williams & Partners, Chartered Accountants
LLP, a team of over 25 support professionals including auditing,
insurance loss accounting, information technology, contracts,
legislation and taxation.
INTRODUCTORY FORENSIC AND INVESTIGATIVE ACCOUNTANT
You have or are pursuing an accounting designation
and are interested in pursuing a career in forensic and investigative
accounting. Experience should include knowledge of both personal
and corporate income tax, auditing, accounting and financial
reporting. You enjoy analytical thinking and putting the pieces
together when all the information is not available. Good people
skills are required to investigate and also understand client
needs. Currently our team has over 75 years of practical experience.
You will be trained to perform financial analysis in the context
of legal or potentially legal disputes. Our clients consist
of major insurance companies, independent insurance adjusters,
law firms, corporations, business owners and individuals.
